It turns out that in some fluke of Barnes & Noble's book shelving system, Year of Plenty is located directly next to Religion for Dummies. It seems somewhat appropriate. YOP is kind of a Relgion for Dummies Who Like to Garden, and Keep Chickens, and Read Wendell Berry.
(In case your wondering, this is the B&N in the Spokane Valley. They're all stocked up.)
I bought the first and only copy that the valley B&N had a couple weeks ago, I was so excited. Glad to see they're stocked up!

That's funny. Btw, last night, I read the piece on the hail storm. I was thinking, look if I'd been at Craig's house, I'd put on a helmet and a few coats and found some way... I'd done it! Then I thought, I think Craig would have done the same. The hail must have been bad... and how horrible to just sit there with the sound of hail hammering the house and the garden. And then I thought that the only way to deal with sitting there without losing it would have been to let it go. And then I understood, that it was beautiful. And then I started thinking about art.
